PARTICIPANT REGULATIONS

  1. The respect and place given to each person is a fundamental part of the philosophy of Camp Santa Ursula, so the participant must always address the other participants, Staff, managers, etc., with respect and appropriate language.
  2. Strictly prohibited:some text
    • Any type of violence (e.g. Physical, verbal, psychological, bullying Etc.)
    • Inappropriate behavior and/or jokes or games that jeopardize the physical and emotional safety of another person.
    • Modify your own or another participant's appearance through haircuts, eyebrows, piercings, and tattoos. Etc.
  1. Under no circumstances should the participant take things that do not belong to them, for the purpose of appropriating them.
  2. Upon arrival at the camp, all participants, without exception, must hand over their cell phones since their use during the camp is prohibited; they will be returned to them at the end of the event.
  3. Under no circumstances is it allowed to introduce alcoholic beverages, cigarettes of any kind and/or nervative or addictive substances to the facilities, the first filter to check on the participant is their own home.
  4. It is forbidden to carry any object that poses a danger to campers such as sharp objects, firearms, matches, lighters or any instrument that the camp management considers dangerous. If you take it, it will be picked up and returned at the end of the camp and if the management deems it necessary, given to the parents.
  5. In activities that the camp indicates as mandatory the use of safety accessories (helmet, harness, goggles, gloves, life jacket, etc.) and the participant, after receiving instructions from the staff, refuses to use safety equipment, will be denied participation.
  6. In the activities that are required, the participant must always remain with their equipment and instructor, and if they have the need to temporarily separate themselves from the equipment, they must immediately notify the instructor.
  7. The camp itself, and all the members of its team will always be aware of the preservation and care of flora and fauna as well as natural resources, so each participant will have the obligation to be careful in this matter. (Do not remove flowers, stones, plants, animals, among others, from the place where the activities are carried out, do not feed the animals unless instructed by your instructor, do not waste water, turn off lights that are not occupied)
  8. The dorms will be closed during the day and only when an activity requires it will they be opened by the instructor. There can be no campers in the rooms without an adult present.
  9. Access to another bedroom other than your own is not allowed, much less to a bedroom of the opposite sex.
  10. Damage or damage to the facilities, animals, equipment and things owned by the camp or a third party, and which, in the opinion of the directors, have been done in bad faith by a participant, must be immediately covered by the parent or guardian of that participant.
  11. The daily rest of each participant is mandatory for the proper performance of the activities, so there is a tolerance of only 15 minutes after the end of the last activity of the day; the average time to go to sleep is 10:30pm except for special activities.
  12. If the participant's behavior is negative, to the extent of affecting the general dynamics of the group, or if the participant's stay in the camp is considered negative for himself, the participant must be picked up as soon as possible by his father, mother or guardian at the camp facilities.
  13. The above points encompass the general behavioral regulations, however the participant must follow the instructions, restrictions and individual regulations of each activity, which will be announced to him at the camp. (observe precautionary and CRIC signs at each facility/activity)

ADDITIONAL

  1. The schedule of activities will be from 10 am to 10 pm, depending on the published role of activities. The pools open at 1:15pm.
  2. Only the installation of the scheduled activity can be used by your group and not other areas. You cannot use any area that is not supervised or operated by a staff member.
  3. Office and information hours are from 9 am to 8 pm and are provided in the office.
  4. Campfires can only be handled by camping personnel and exclusively in the area of Tipis or Rabbit Island, according to the CRIC of bonfires.
  5. The only place intended for camping is on the esplanade of the garden and there must be a minimum space of 1 m of free distance around the tensioners of the camping house and free of obstacles to allow the free and safe movement of people;
  6. Pets are not allowed to enter except for support animals for people with different abilities.
  7. There are laws that protect both natural and cultural heritage, and any intervention, alteration or extraction of such heritage is punishable by applicable legal provisions.
  8. The safety equipment and equipment used in ropes and diving activities are continuously maintained and renewed, recorded in logs.
  9. Night security is provided at some events by external personnel.
  10. The minimum age for carrying out the activities is 6 years, (consult the regulations of each activity for exceptions)

The sole purpose of these regulations is to promote healthy coexistence among the participants, any fault, or in the case something not written, will be considered by the management and will result from a wake-up call to the immediate removal of the participant from the camp facilities by the father, mother or guardian. For this reason, the registration does not have to be returned in whole or in part.
