Give the Gift of Experience This Summer: The Best Investment for Your Children's Development

1. A Program Tailored to Their Age and Development

At Camp Santa Úrsula, we design age-appropriate activities with the goal of enhancing social skills, autonomy, creativity, and respect for others. Our pedagogical approach is based on experiential learning, where each activity is thoughtfully created to promote personal growth and holistic development.

From artistic workshops to physical challenges, each experience is carefully planned to be stimulating and suitable for every age group. This ensures that all campers — from the youngest to the teens — find activities they love and that help them grow.

2. Safety First

We know entrusting your children to others requires trust. That’s why we have qualified staff, emergency protocols, constant monitoring, and a secure environment. Our commitment to safety is present in every aspect of the camp:

  • Trained Staff: Instructors and assistants certified in first aid and group management.
  • Emergency Protocols: Action plans in place for any situation.
  • 24/7 Supervision: Continuous monitoring to ensure every camper’s wellbeing.
  • Safe Facilities: Spaces designed to minimize risks and foster a secure atmosphere.

Additionally, we have a fully equipped medical service and a professional team ready to respond immediately to any need or emergency.

3. A Human Team That Cares from the Heart

Our instructors and assistants are not only trained — they’re warm and empathetic. At Santa Úrsula, we don’t just care for children: we build connections. We know how important it is for a child to feel heard, protected, and valued.

We foster an environment of respect and mutual support, where every camper feels part of a big family. This emotional bond is essential for children to feel safe and explore new experiences with confidence.

4. Experiences That Leave a Mark

Every corner of Camp Santa Úrsula holds an adventure: from waking up in the heart of nature to nighttime gatherings, physical skill circuits, water activities, cooperative games, and group reflection moments. The goal is clear: for them to live a summer they’ll remember forever.

5. Inclusion and Respect for Diversity

Our camp is designed to welcome children of all abilities, backgrounds, and needs. We believe in a space where everyone learns from one another, where differences are celebrated and become sources of richness.

We promote an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and respected. We adapt our activities to ensure all campers can fully participate and enjoy the experience.

6. Constant Communication with Families

During camp, we keep families informed through official channels. We know that parents’ peace of mind is part of what makes this experience successful.

We provide regular updates on campers’ activities and wellbeing and are always available to answer any questions or concerns.

7. Learn Through Play, Grow with Joy

Summer can also be a time for learning. At Camp Santa Úrsula, we make that happen through play, sharing, making mistakes, and trying again. These are the lessons that last a lifetime.

Our workshops and activities are designed to teach practical skills and important values in a fun, engaging way. From healthy cooking to photography, every activity offers opportunities for personal growth and discovering new passions.

Frequently Asked Questions about the camp

We answer all your questions!

What is the age range for children to sign up for camp?

In the Camps we only welcome boys and girls from 7 to 15 years of age.

Who takes care of the children?

The children are cared for by an instructor and an assistant, together with instructors specialized in various activities and camp managers who are on the lookout for all campers.

If my child goes with a friend can they be together?

Yes, as long as the children are the same age and both they and the parents agree. Although we can't commit to more than 3 campers on the same team.

Do the rooms or cabins have their own bathrooms?

The vast majority of rooms or cabins have their own bathroom.

Do you help young children bathe and dress?

No, we ask that you consider that children should be independent in activities such as bathing, dressing, combing their hair, going to the bathroom and taking care of their things. Instructors are waiting, but cannot take care of each child individually.

How is communication with children? Can we talk to them?

Calls are not allowed. The communication is through messages on the camp page, delivered daily at breakfast time or the first activity in the morning. Children respond to these messages in letters that are taken photos and sent to the parents' emails.

If my child is carrying medications, how do they manage them?

We have medical staff who administer medications. Parents should write down the information in the registry and hand in medications when leaving their children at the camp.

What do you do in case of an accident? Do they warn us?

The protocols are followed. In case of minor injuries, there is no warning so as not to worry parents. There's a paramedic in the camp. In more serious cases, parents are contacted before taking the child to the hospital.

Do you have any health insurance?

Yes, we have accident insurance that covers up to $150,000.00.

How safe is the camp? Do you have any systems in place?

The camp is safe, with measures such as electric fences, closed circuit television, among others.

What are the foods like? Can you briefly describe what they eat?

  • Breakfast: Fruits, juices, smoothies, milk, cereal, eggs, beans, chilaquiles, waffles, hot cakes, sweet bread.
  • Food: Salads, vegetables, soup, cream, chicken, fish, beef or pork, flavored waters and dessert.
